The Chronicles of Narnia

Every once in awhile work rents out a theater for us to go and see a movie. They did this for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I thought it's a pretty good movie, but nothing great. Some of the special effects and acting was a little painful at times, but overall an entertaining movie. It's sort of a cross between the Harry Potter movies and the Lord of the Ring movies.

I did read the books when I was younger, but I can't remember much from them so I can't say how closely the movie followed the book. Perhaps it's time to read them again...
